Basic, yet very effective, the Ionic Pro with its one purifying technology performs remarkably well in cleaning the air of essential airborne contaminants such as pollen, smoke, dust, pet dander and much more.

These Ionic Pro air purifiers also have the added benefit of being extremely easy to operate, very simple to clean, and very cost effective with no need to replace expensive filters.

What does Ionic Pro Ionic Air Purifiers offer its Users?

  • Filtering Technologies Used

  • The Ionic Pro consists of one filtering technology for purifying a room.

As an Ionic purifier, the Pro emits charged ions that effectively trap various airborne contaminants on three negatively charged blades.

This process is effective with irritants, allergens and pollutants all down to the size of 1 micron. The result is clean, ionized air that is expelled back into the room.

  • Performance
  • Very effective with a lot of power, the Ionic Pro was designed to clean medium to large-sized rooms. Specifically, it can purify a room up to 500 sq. ft.

The Whisper Quiet technology enables the Ionic Pro to circulate the air without the use of noisy fans and motors. This makes the Pro exceptionally quiet and convenient to use in bedrooms during the night.

Ionic purifiers tend to produce ozone as a by-product which at a high level, can be dangerous to a person’s health. But the Ionic Pro complies with the U.S. safety requirements for low ozone emission (less than 50 parts per billion) therefore this unit’s ozone emission level is safe for the household.

  • Economical Factor
  • Extremely energy efficient, the Ionic Pro uses only 15 watts of power which is a valuable cost-saving attribute of this air purifier.

Very economical to operate, the Pro can run continuously for less than 4 cents per day.

Because of the ionic purifying filtering system, there are no costly filters that have to be replaced like on other types of air purifiers which saves you a lot of money over the long run.

  • Ease of Use
  • Virtually maintenance-free, the Ionic Pro requires very little time and effort to maintain in proper working condition. In fact, when it is time to clean the blades, the red clean indication light will flash, alerting you to the situation. This convenient feature saves you from having to remember the blade cleaning schedule.

When it’s time to clean the blades, simply remove the steel blade assembly and wipe clean with a damp cloth or wash in soap and water, let dry, then replace the blade assembly back into the unit.

The Ionic Pro purifier is extremely easy to use. The one-touch controls allow you to simply press a button and leave. The machine will do the rest.

  • Maintenance Requirements
  •   The manufacturer recommends that the blades be cleaned on a monthly basis, or more if the air purifier is used in a heavily polluted environment. The red clean indicator light or excessive noise from the unit will alert you to the time that the blades need to be cleaned.

To clean the blades, simply remove them from unit and wipe clean with a damp cloth or wash in soapy water. It is very important that the blades are left to dry for 24-hours before placing them back into the purifier or the unit will be damaged.

The manufacturer recommends that you purchase an extra set of blades so the air purifier can be in continuous operation while the first set of blades are drying.

The internal ionizing wires will need to be cleaned on a regular basis as well, every 2 weeks or if the unit starts to make a buzzing noise. To clean the wires, the unit has a wire cleaning mechanism attached to it that is used for cleaning the wires.

  • Additional Features Offered
    • There are three different fan speeds – High, Medium and Low
      1. Low – this is the most cost-effective setting. It is used for smaller rooms.
      2. Medium – for medium-size rooms where the doors and windows are rarely opened.
      3. High – maximum output for large rooms and/or heavy dust.
    • Clean Indication Light – Lights up when it is time to clean the blades.
    • Wire Cleaning Mechanism – an attachment that is used to clean the internal wiring system.
    • Dimensions: 29” x 10.5” x 9”
    • Color: Black
Price and Warranty The Ionic Pro range in price from $115 - $180. The replacement blades cost on average $30. The collection blades can be easily purchased by ordering from the manufacturer’s website.

There is a 1-year limited warranty with this air purifier.

Basic and easy to use, the Ionic Pro air purifier does its job in cleaning the air of various airborne pollutants.

This particular model, with its one purifying technique, is only good with airborne pollutants down to 1 micron in size. This means that the Ionic Pro is not especially effective against microorganisms and VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds).

There are many other models, especially those with HEPA filters and those with several purifying technologies in one unit that are very effective against all classes of airborne pollutants.
