Should You Consider the Prozone Air Purifier?

A Prozone air purifier is one that will help to reduce the amount of harmful bacteria and contaminates in the air, working to help you have a better environment to live in.

The personal project of the physicist Ron Barnes, the Prozone air cleaner came out of Barnes' curiosity about growing ozone technology. He managed to build the technology that eventually resulted in the Prozone air purifier.

Prozone itself originally developed out of a need to find a better way to establish swimming pool purification without the use of so many chemicals. From there, by the use of oxidation and ozone technology, the systems were able to expand into air purification.

This results in a great air purifier that can not only remove a chemical and gas presence from the air, but will also help remove smoke and other odors from the air, giving you a more sterile environment.

Pros of the Prozone PZ6 Indoor Air Purifier

  • The unit works to remove the presence of gases, chemicals, viruses, and other contaminates that many other purifiers cannot touch.
  • This model is very energy efficient, costing less than a 50 watt light bulb to run.
  • Odors will also be very effectively reduced using this air purifier.

Cons of the Prozone PZ6 Indoor Air Purifier

  • No filtration is provided to help capture particles and contaminates from the air like dust or pollen.
  • Unit should be placed in an elevated location for the best possible results.

What Does Prozone Air Purifier Offer?

  • Technology Used

  • The Prozone PZ6 Air model will use the highest ozone and oxygenation technology to work on giving you the cleanest possible air. While other air purifiers will use filters to help capture unwanted elements in the air, this purifier works by simply releasing aggressive, oxygen-heavy air into the atmosphere. As this air starts to combine with the contaminated air, the presence of these contaminates will quickly begin to diminish.

Some ozone air purifiers have been rated as dangerous in high quantities. The more ozone that is in the environment, the more of an adverse effect that it will have on your breathing. Yet, this doesn't take into account that there are two different types of ozone in the atmosphere. The Prozone will use only the good kind of ozone to help eliminate the presence of unwanted chemicals, gases, and odors from the air.

A light will be used to help produce this good ozone to help with the oxidation process. As you turn the unit on, this light will come on, along with a fan unit to suck the air in and blow it out again. That will be all that you need to do in order to purify the air in your home. The oxidation process will take over from here and help to make your home a more sterile place.

  • Area Covered
  • This air purifier is best suited for areas of 800 square feet or smaller. This makes it a good presence for certain rooms in your home, as it should be able to give you a better chance to make the air all over your home more fresh and clean.

You will quickly be able to notice the air quality improving with the crisp, fresh scent in the air.

  • Maintenance Required
  •   The light inside of the unit which helps with the oxidation process is good to run for nearly 20,000 hours. You should be able to go for over 2 years before the light may need to be replaced, and that is if you run the machine continuously.

Other than this, you should simply dust out the air vents located around the unit, to prevent the build up of dust or other particles which may collect around the machine and work on preventing the optimal air flow.

  • Noise and Energy Levels
  • Running the Prozone PZ6 Air purifier unit is very energy efficient and inexpensive. It will use less energy than a typical 50 watt light bulb. That will let you run this machine for longer without worrying about how much it is going to cost on your eventual bill. You will also not have to worry about this unit wasting electricity for it doesn't use that much.

This Prozone air purifier model is also virtually silent. This gives you the ability to run the machine without needing to worry about background distraction. Instead, you will always be treated to a higher level of air quality for the time that you choose to run this unit in your home.

  • Price and Warranty
  • The unit sells for under $105. With no filter replacements that will be needed and a very long time before the light may need to be replaced, this is a very good offer. A one year warranty will also protect the product against any damages which may arise with the unit.

  • Additional Features
    • This unit is incredibly compact, measuring under 6 inches on all sides. This will make it very easy to transport.
    • The model weighs less than two pounds, making it easy for anyone to take advantage of.
    • Active oxygen will replace all of the harmful elements which would otherwise be present in your air.
If your largest concern with air purification will relate to the need to catch particles out of the air with filters, a Prozone air purifier is not the right match for you. If you believe that the power of oxygenated air will help remove all of the harmful elements in your air using the good type of ozone, this may be a smarter choice.

With it's price and it's long-life, it may well be worth a chance.
