What does Honeywell HHT-011 Air Purifier offer its Users?

  • Filters And Technology Used

  • 3-Stage Cleaning System

The HEPAClean Compact purifies the air in 3 stages which collectively, effectively filters and captures up to 99% of the airborne impurities, leaving a room full of clean and sanitized air.

    Washable Pre-filter

First, the pre-filter acts as the first line in defense when it comes to purifying dirty air. Its job is to trap large-sized particles such as lint and pet hair, etc. as the dirty air flows through the filter. The pre-filter is washable which saves time and money from having to buy pre-filters continuously.

    Permanent HEPA-type Filter

Secondly, the permanent HEPA-type filter effectively removes various airborne contaminants up to 2 microns such as dust, pollen, smoke, pet dander, mold spores among many others. The HEPA-type filter is permanent therefore there is no need to purchase costly filters on a regular basis as with other air purifiers. It is also easy to maintain; just quick vacuuming on a periodic basis.

    Optional Ionizer

Finally, the ionizer is an optional feature that when utilized, releases a steady concentration of negative ions for extra cleaning power in addition to instantly freshening stale, musty air within a room.

  • Performance

  • The HEPAClean Compact purifies small-sized rooms (8’ x 10’), up to 85 sq. ft.

The Compact is so efficient that it is capable of removing 99% of airborne contaminants up to 2 microns.

Under strict room air cleaning standards, the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) certified the HEPAClean Compact based on the fact that it met the following criteria when operated at high fan speed setting. This purifier can make:

    • 5 air changes per hour for small-sized rooms (up to 80 sq. ft.).
    • 2.8 air changes per hour for medium-sized rooms (up to 149 sq. ft.)
    • 1 air change per hour for large-sized rooms (up to 300 sq. ft.)
  • Maintenence Requirements

  •   The Honeywell permanent true HEPA air purifier is very low maintenance and easy to clean. Since there is no need to replace filters with the HEPAClean Compact, there is a cleaning schedule that should be adhered to keep it in top working condition.

HEPA-type Filter – Very easy to clean simply by vacuuming it at least 4 times per year, or more if required due to heavy polluted rooms. The unit is equipped with an electronic filter clean indicator button that will light up when it is time for cleaning. It is recommended that the vacuum cleaner is equipped with a HEPA filter but if not, then the HEPA-type filter should be vacuumed outdoors to keep the captured particulates from floating back into the house. The HEPA-type filter should never be washed or get wet because it will destroy the filter.

Pre-filter - The pre-filter is easily cleaned simply by shaking it to remove the particles or by rinsing under warm water by hand. It is important that the pre-filter is completely dry before replacing it back into the unit. The pre-filter should be cleaned on a periodic basis, about every 3 months or so.
