What Does Blue Air 501 Air Purifier Offer?

  • Technology Used

  • Only Blue Air Purifiers are able to feature HEPASilent technology, which improves on the existing HEPA filters. Instead of merely capturing 99.7% of particles that are 0.3 microns or larger, a BlueAir 501 air purifier will capture 99.97% of all of the particles which are 0.1 microns.

It will do this by using special nontoxic polypropylene filters that will not damage the environment in any way. As the air passes through these filters, the particles will be absorbed. This is not all, however, for additional technology is used to capture particles that are even smaller than what the HEPASilent filter on its own might capture.

The air will be directed through an enclosed ion chamber, which will give the particles themselves a charge. That will make them more attracted to the filter and this can get an even higher level of success rate of air purification.

The less contaminates that are in the air, the more safe and pure it will be.

If you choose to upgrade the Blueair 501 air purifier model, you can easily include the Smokestop filter that will aid you with collecting and destroying the unwanted odors in your air. This will work by using an activated carbon presence in the filter. They will work to break down any organic compounds which will be producing the odors in the air and this will help with making the room smell fresh and clean.

  • Air Changes
  • The Blue Air 501 model works best in rooms of 580 square feet or smaller. In these environments, it will be able to provide 6 complete air changes or more.

The more air changes that you get in an hour, the better your room will be purified. It will work in larger rooms, however. In a room of 1690 square feet, you should experience 2 full air changes.

Changing the filters will be very easy, however, as all that you need to do is open the top of the console, pull out the old filter, and slide in the new one. You should not need any tools to do this.
